We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team Full-time as an Office Coordinator / Front Office Specialist, where your energy and organizational skills will drive the smooth operation of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will be one of the welcoming faces of our office, managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating patient flow, and work closely with the clinical team to deliver exceptional care. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure an efficient, compliant, and patient-centered environment that fosters growth and excellence.
<Responsibilities>
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in and check-out procedures
• Manage appointment scheduling using Open Dental and experience with Dental Intel is also beneficial
• Handle administrative support tasks including verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Oversee front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and coordinating communication between patients and clinical team
• Assist with fiscal management activities such as budgeting, billing, and financial reporting to ensure practice profitability
We are looking for:
• Proven experience in a dental office front desk environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with Open Dental
• Knowledge of dental terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and managed care processes
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, clinical team, vendors, and external partners
