In this role, you will deliver high-quality dental hygiene services, support the dentist during exams, and contribute to developing personalized treatment plans based on your clinical findings.
Responsibilities
– Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
– Review dental care plans with patients and address any questions or concerns
– Maintain strict sterilization protocols and comply with all safety standards
– Review medical histories and record vital signs
– Conduct preliminary exams and gather oral health histories
– Assess patients for gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral health conditions
– Perform dental cleanings, remove plaque, and apply fluoride treatments
– Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care techniques
– Take digital X-rays and dental impressions as needed
– Assist the dentist during examinations, accurately chart findings, and help develop treatment plans
– Contribute to an efficient, organized, and team-focused workflow
Qualifications
-Registered Dental Hygienist License
-Laser Certified
-CPR Certified
-At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
-Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
-Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to multitask and thrive in a team-oriented environment
