Title: Dental Assistant

Description: We’re a neighborhood dental practice serving the community where we live and work. We’ve developed personal relationships with many of our patients, and we want every member of our team to help maintain that welcoming, personal atmosphere. We’re looking for someone who combines attentive clinical support with a genuine interest in the person sitting in the chair.

What you’ll do
-Welcome patients, bring them to the treatment room, and help them feel comfortable.
-Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
-Assist the dentist during treatment.
-Take dental radiographs within the scope of your credentials.
-Record clinical information and assist with patient documentation.
-Reinforce the dentist’s instructions for treatment and postoperative care.
-Clean and disinfect treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
-Help maintain supplies, equipment, and an organized clinical workspace.
-Communicate with the front desk and clinical team to support a smooth patient experience.

Dental assisting experience with the ability to take Impressions (both digital and physical), place packing cord, and fabricate temporary crowns, applicable Texas credentials, and familiarity with Dentrix Ascend are a plus.
