Title: Dental Hygienist

Description: Wilderness Oak Family Dentistry is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. We are looking for someone who is a team player, enthusiastic, patient-centered and who loves educating patients, to join our team!
Our offices provides General dentistry and cosmetic. The ideal candidate would have 1 year or more of experience and is family with Eaglesoft dental software.
Requirements: Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments. Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation. Experience using electronic medical records. Leadership skills and growth mindset, embodies humility and honesty.
Responsibilities: Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments. Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist. Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment. Applying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay.
Education: Valid Dental Hygiene license in Texas. Minimum of an associate's degree in dental hygiene, CPR certification.
