About New Heights Dental and Braces:
We are a privately owned, multi-specialty dental practice with over 30 years of history in the San Antonio community. Our three-doctor team provides general dentistry, clear aligner therapy, periodontics, implants, and oral surgery. We are in an active growth phase. Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned RDA who can move fluidly across departments without missing a beat. This is not an entry-level position. You will be expected to anticipate the doctor's needs, manage your operatory with precision, and contribute meaningfully to patient flow across Restorative and Hygiene departments.

Clinical Responsibilities

Restorative:
● Chair-side assist with restorative procedures, extractions, implant placement, and oral surgery
● Prepare and break down operatories efficiently between patients
● Take and process diagnostic radiographs
● Assist with administration of nitrous oxide under doctor supervision
● Accurately document treatment in CareStack in real time

Hygiene Support:
● Seat hygiene patients and take radiographs when needed to maintain schedule flow
● Assist hygienists during periodontal procedures as directed

General & Administrative:
● Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control compliance
● Monitor supply levels in your operatory and communicate restocking needs proactively
● Contribute to a smooth patient experience from seating through dismissal
● Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and documentation

Qualifications

Required:
● Active Texas RDA registration in good standing
● 3–5 years of RDA experience in a general or multi-specialty practice
● Current CPR/BLS certification
● Comfortable working in cloud-based practice management software
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time without close supervision
● Strong clinical knowledge and chair-side instincts — you anticipate, you don't wait

A Plus for the Following:
● Experience with CareStack or similar cloud-based practice management software
● Coronal polishing certification
● Training through a dental consultancy (e.g., TTI, ToPS, Breakaway Practice, The Scheduling Institute, or similar)
● Bilingual (English/Spanish)
