We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused **Registered Dental Assistant** to join our growing dental team!
This is a **permanent, 4-day-per-week position** with a consistent schedule split between two of our San Antonio dental offices:
📍 **2 days per week at our Shavano Park location**
📍 **2 days per week at our Southside location**
Because this position supports both practices, **reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between our two office locations is required.**
💰 **Pay: $27/hour**
### Who we're looking for:
We are looking for an RDA who is confident, experienced, and comfortable performing **ALL duties expected of a Registered Dental Assistant in a busy general dentistry practice.**
**Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for this position.** The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and compassionately with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients is a must.
Just as importantly, **a great chairside manner is an absolute must.**
Our patients are extremely important to us. We want someone who is naturally **friendly, welcoming, compassionate, and able to make patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.** Clinical skills matter tremendously, but the way you treat and communicate with our patients matters just as much.
The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, professional, takes initiative, and can confidently help keep the clinical day moving efficiently.
### Clinical experience and responsibilities include:
• Confident chairside assisting with all general dentistry procedures
• Fabricating and finishing quality temporary crowns and bridges
• Digital scanning using **iTero and other intraoral scanners**
• Scanning for crowns, bridges, restorative procedures, and other dental treatment
• **Implant scanning and implant-related digital workflows**
• Taking high-quality diagnostic dental radiographs
• Preparing patients and treatment rooms for clinical care
• Proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Maintaining an organized and efficient clinical workflow
• Anticipating the doctor's needs during procedures
• Clearly and compassionately communicating with patients in **both English and Spanish**
• Helping patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and confident in their care
• Working closely with our doctors and clinical team
• Willingness and ability to work at both of our San Antonio locations
