7 to 7 Dental & Orthodontics is looking for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (Ortho RDA) to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

As an Orthodontic RDA, you will work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to provide quality patient care and help create a positive orthodontic experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the orthodontist with examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures.
Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic treatment.
Assist with bonding, banding, bracket placement, wire changes, and appliance adjustments as directed by the orthodontist.
Assist with placement and removal of orthodontic appliances and retainers.
Take orthodontic records, including photographs, X-rays, and digital scans as permitted by applicable requirements.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures.
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked operatories.
Follow all OSHA, infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
Accurately document treatment and maintain complete patient records.
Educate patients and parents regarding oral hygiene, orthodontic appliances, and treatment instructions.
Provide patients and families with a welcoming, professional, and positive experience.
Maintain efficient patient flow and communicate effectively with the orthodontist and clinical team.

What We're Looking For

Required:

Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
At least 1 year of RDA experience
Orthodontic experience preferred
Strong chairside assisting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Professional attitude and commitment to excellent patient care.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Schedule availability required:
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Thursday: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
