Your Responsibilities:

·Assist in Chairside Procedures: Support the dentist during exams and treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
· Prepare and Sterilize Equipment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment rooms for procedures.
·Patient Care and Comfort: Build rapport with patients, explain procedures, and provide a high level of comfort and care throughout their visit.
·X-Rays and Imaging: Take and develop high-quality X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
·Assist in Restorative Procedures: Help with the placement of fillings, crowns, and other dental restorations, ensuring precision and efficiency.
·Implant and Surgical Assistance: Support the dentist during implant placements and surgical procedures with precision and attention to detail.
·Maintain Patient Records: Accurately update patient charts and records, ensuring all relevant information is recorded for ongoing care.
·Inventory Management: Monitor and manage dental supplies, ensuring the office is fully stocked and all materials are in good working condition.
·Lab Work Assistance: Assist with lab work, including impression taking, model creation, and preparing cases for dental labs.
·Patient Education: Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene instructions, and preventative care to enhance patient outcomes.
·Compliance with Safety Protocols: Follow OSHA and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
·Multitask and Prioritize: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
·Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team, including front office staff, to ensure seamless patient flow and a positive office environment.
·Adapt to New Technologies: Stay current with the latest dental technologies and techniques, including digital tools, to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
·This position requires a proactive attitude, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Skills:

·Strong Clinical Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and protocols
·Exceptional Chairside Manner with a focus on patient comfort and clear communication
·Proficiency in Dental Radiography, including taking and processing high-quality X-rays
·Excellent Sterilization and Infection Control Practices in compliance with OSHA standards
·Efficient Time Management and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
·Attention to Detail in all clinical and administrative tasks
·Outstanding Communication Skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
·Ability to Anticipate Needs of both the dentist and the patient during procedures
·Experience with Digital Dental Software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
·Manual Dexterity for assisting in detailed dental procedures
·Reliable and Self-Motivated, with a proactive approach to daily responsibilities
·Professional Appearance and Demeanor, reflecting the high standards of a premier dental practice
·Adaptability to new technologies, procedures, and continuous improvements
