New Braunfels Christian Ministries (NBCM) is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) clinic, an established nonprofit clinic delivering high-quality, compassionate care in our new medical and dental facility in New Braunfels. This position is ideal for a dental assistant with at least three (3) years of experience providing chairside assistance who values thoughtful dental care, meaningful patient relationships, and sharing the love of Christ. At VIM, providers focus on patient care instead of insurance requirements and productivity pressures. You will work with a collaborative team of staff and volunteer dentists who support high-quality, conservative care for uninsured adults. Position Summary
The Registered Dental Assistant provides chairside assistance for dentists providing compassionate dental care services to uninsured adult patients.
This role is best suited for an experienced dental assistant who:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of (3) years' experience as a Dental Assistant
• Radiology certificate
• Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant license
• Current CPR Certification
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Experience with Eaglesoft and/or Athena electronic medical records
General Schedule to provide patient care is Mon 1-5; Tues 8-12; Wed 1-5; Thurs 8-12; Friday 8-12 as needed. Admin time to order supplies, sterilize, etc. is in addition to these hours.
